Serrano’s Landscaping has a rich history of family and hard work. Started by entrepreneur Concepcion Serrano, and now run by his daughter, Maria, we’ve grown and maintained local success as one of San Jose’s trusted landscaping businesses.
Concepcion Serrano was one of the first installers working in the Bay Area as a sub-contractor for the biggest paver and landscaping companies in California. By leaning from the best of the best, and gaining valuable hands-on experience, his passion for landscaping and hardscaping grew. After realizing he could take his skills and provide services of his own, Concepcion set out to become a small business owner.
After years of running a successful landscaping and hardscaping business, it was time for our founder and CEO to retire. Fortunately, this was around the time that Concepcion’s daughter was graduating high school. Maria started helping out with local projects, seeing how jobs were completed, and quickly recognized that she had a passion for helping homeowners just like her father. Eventually Maria took over as CEO of Serrano’s, and we’re now a multi-generational owned and operated business!
